Pop singer Enrique Iglesias may be returning to India this October, with a concert in Mumbai reportedly being planned. According to reports, a Gujarat-based event company is said to be organizing the event. If confirmed, this would mark Iglesias’ first performance in India since 2012.
His previous concerts in India took place in Pune, Gurugram, and Bengaluru. While the news has generated interest among fans, neither Iglesias nor his team has officially confirmed the event. As of now, Mumbai is not included on his official tour schedule.
Known for songs like Hero, Bailamos, and Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You), Iglesias has previously shared positive sentiments about India. In 2019, he posted a video on Instagram of a fan chasing his car during a past visit, captioned, “One of my favourite places in the world! I love you #India can’t wait to be back!!”
Iglesias first performed in India in 2004 and again in 2012. His potential return would add to a growing list of international artists performing in the country, including Coldplay, Dua Lipa, Travis Scott, Guns N’ Roses, and Alan Walker.
Fans are awaiting an official confirmation regarding the concert.
