StarLadder to host 2025 Counter-Strike 2 Major in Budapest’s MVM Dome

StarLadder is all set to host the second Counter-Strike 2 Major of 2025 in Budapest, Hungary. The event will feature 32 of the world’s top CS2 teams competing for a $1.25 million prize pool from November 24 to December 14.

The tournament will begin at MTK Sportpark, a newly upgraded 2,000-seat venue, giving fans a chance to experience offline Counter-Strike up close. The Playoffs will be held from December 11 to 14 at the MVM Dome, a 20,000-seat arena with advanced production technology, making it one of the biggest venues in CS2 Major history.

With large LED displays, immersive lighting, and special effects, the MVM Dome will offer a full-scale stadium experience. The Major also coincides with Budapest’s festive season, giving visitors a taste of the city’s holiday charm.

Roman Romantsov, CEO, StarLadder said, “Hosting another Major is an incredible honor, and we’re determined to make it unforgettable, Budapest gives us the perfect stage to push the boundaries of what a live CS2 event can look and feel like.
