Britannia Industries has announced the appointment of Varun Berry as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), adding to his current responsibilities as Executive Vice-Chairman and Managing Director. The update was shared through a recent filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Berry, who joined Britannia in 2013 as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, brings with him over 38 years of experience across leading companies such as Hindustan Unilever and PepsiCo. His professional journey spans across India and international markets, with a proven track record in building startups, managing joint ventures, and expanding established businesses.
In addition to his leadership role at Britannia, Berry serves on the board of several prominent companies. His appointment as CEO marks a strategic move by Britannia to strengthen leadership and drive continued growth across its operations.
