MAYFAIR Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Varun Mehrotra as the new Assistant Vice President – Sales & Marketing at its Corporate Office. With an illustrious career spanning over 23 years, Mehrotra brings a wealth of experience in sales leadership, strategic marketing, brand positioning, and revenue optimisation.
In his new role, Mehrotra will be responsible for developing and executing a performance-driven sales and marketing strategy across MAYFAIR’s portfolio of 18 luxury resorts spread across eight states. His focus will include expanding market reach, enhancing sales channels, and leveraging data-driven insights to fuel performance marketing initiatives.
Mehrotra’s career in the hospitality sector began with Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, and he has since held leadership roles with renowned names such as The Leela, Zuri Hotels & Resorts, Ista Hotels, Accor Group’s Fairmont Jaipur, and Khyathi Solutions. Throughout his journey, he has demonstrated a consistent ability to analyse market trends, optimise revenue streams, and elevate brand presence, leading to sustained business growth.
At MAYFAIR, he will also spearhead efforts to strengthen high-revenue segments including MICE and destination weddings, drive strategic partnerships, and champion digital transformation. His innovative approach is expected to further boost the brand’s visibility and long-term profitability.
