India’s aviation sector is seeing rapid expansion, with over Rs. 60,000 crore expected to be invested in airport infrastructure from 2025 to 2027. Passenger traffic is projected to grow 8-11% annually, with domestic travel leading the charge. In January 2025 alone, domestic passenger numbers surged 14.5% year-on-year, surpassing pre-COVID levels.

Adding momentum, the revamped UDAN scheme will connect 120 new destinations, aiming to serve 4 crore passengers over the next decade—boosting regional connectivity and further driving demand for modern, efficient airports.
