The Hotel And Restaurant Association (Western India) – HRAWI, in collaboration with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), organized its latest Food Safety Supervisor Training in Advance Catering (FoSTaC) on April 15 at the Sun-N-Sand Hotel, Mumbai.
The training session was attended by 36 hospitality professionals and covered crucial topics such as food handling, hygiene, sanitation, and waste management. The participants gained insights into strengthening food safety practices within their establishments, reinforcing industry best standards.
The event was inaugurated by key representatives including Dr. Pasupathy V. (Trainer, Parikshan), Nataraj Dabola (Purchase Manager), Dhiraj Kumar (F&B Manager), Abhijit Jadhav (Pastry Chef), and Rajni Gohil (Banquet Head of Sun-N-Sand Hotel).
With this session, HRAWI has now trained and certified a total of 3,412 hospitality professionals through its FoSTaC training programmes. The Association continues to emphasize the importance of food safety and is dedicated to equipping industry personnel with the skills and knowledge needed to maintain high standards in daily operations.
