Conrad Hotels & Resorts has unveiled The Art of Experiential Dining, a unique initiative that redefines luxury dining as a deeply immersive cultural journey. Launching across the Asia Pacific, a region celebrated for its diverse culinary heritage, the program aims to foster meaningful connections through food. By blending local traditions, culinary mastery, and bespoke experiences, The Art of Experiential Dining invites guests to discover the soul of a destination one bite at a time.

The inaugural edition debuts in India at Conrad Pune, where the expertise of celebrated food historian and writer Anoothi Vishal meets the culinary artistry of Executive Chef Pradeep Rao. Together, they have crafted a menu inspired by 19th-century Indian gastronomy, drawing from royal kitchens and historical archives to present a modern interpretation of classic dishes. Highlights include the Pulled Mutton Dhansak Raviolo, inspired by Pune’s Camp heritage and Parsi influences, and the Peshwai Plate, a tribute to the city’s regal Maratha legacy. Even the beloved Modak has been given a bold, contemporary twist, symbolizing Pune’s unique balance of tradition and modernity.

Adding another dimension to the experience, Conrad’s signature 1/3/5 program—designed to help guests explore a destination in one, three, or five-hour windows—offers curated local adventures. In Pune, these include guided tours of historical landmarks like Shaniwar Wada, flavorful street food trails, and hands-on cultural experiences such as Goda Masala-making workshops or learning from traditional brass artisans.
