Preferred Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest independent hotel brand with over 600 luxury properties in 80+ countries, has announced significant global growth and strategic initiatives. The brand is expanding its presence in India with leadership appointments and five new member hotels, including The Leela Gandhinagar and Aurika Mumbai Skycity. Globally, over 80 new properties joined the portfolio in 2024—the highest since 2019—including iconic additions to its elite Legend Collection, which now surpasses 100 hotels worldwide.

To enhance travel experiences, the brand launched the “Live Like a Legend” campaign and a new Travel Advisor Portal, offering real-time booking tools, exclusive perks, and insights. Its I Prefer Hotel Rewards program now boasts 5 million members.
Beyond Green, Preferred’s eco-conscious brand, expanded to over 50 properties in 22 countries, with a focus on sustainability, cultural preservation, and community wellbeing. New partnerships, like with andBeyond, added premier eco-lodges across Africa and Bhutan. These initiatives support Preferred Travel Group’s Climate Action Plan, aiming for net-zero emissions by 2050.
