World Padel League partners with Wizcraft Entertainment to host its Second Season in Mumbai

The World Padel League (WPL) is set to debut in India, following its successful run in the UAE. Supported by the Indian Padel Federation (IPF), the event will feature 32 of the world’s top padel players competing across four teams. Scheduled from February 5-8, 2025, at the Nesco Center in Mumbai, WPL aims to showcase padel’s dynamic, fast-paced format.

The event will include seven matches over four days, offering an engaging experience for spectators. Renowned international players like Claudia Fernandez Sanchez (Women’s World No. 3), Marta Ortega Gallego (Women’s World No. 7), Sofia Araujo (Women’s World No. 8), Alejandra Salazar Bengoechea (Women’s World No. 15), Federico Chingotto (Men’s World No. 4), Jon Sanz (Men’s World No. 9), and Carlos Daniel Gutierrez (Men’s World No. 19) will participate, marking their first appearance in India.

Padel has been steadily gaining popularity in India, with increased participation and infrastructure development in major cities. The collaboration between WPL and IPF aims to promote the sport further, encouraging greater interest and engagement among Indian sports enthusiasts.

The event’s partners include Wizcraft International as the official partner, Eva Live as the concert partner and Zomato Live as the ticketing partner, promising an engaging experience for sports and music fans alike.
