Havas Play, the experiential arm of the Havas network, hosted the second edition of the Ganga Kinare Music Festival on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Namo Ghat, Varanasi. This year’s event was presented in partnership with Hero MotoCorp, the title sponsor, and aimed to celebrate India’s cultural heritage while emphasizing sustainable practices. The Ganga Kinare Music Festival (GKMF) is a collaborative effort between Zee Media, Havas Play, and Namami Gange.
The festival was aligned with the Namami Gange Programme, encouraging public engagement in the mission to rejuvenate and preserve the Ganga. Hero MotoCorp showcased its range of products, including the Mavrick 440, Karizma XMR, and Xtreme 160R 4V, highlighting its focus on sustainability and advanced technology. The company also honored artists for their contributions to India’s musical legacy.
Kailasa, the renowned band led by Padma Shri awardee Kailash Kher, headlined the festival, with acclaimed singer Yashika Sikka also taking the stage. The evening featured live performances, cultural expressions, and the iconic Ganga Aarti, creating a connection between tradition and modernity.
