PetFed Mumbai 2024 recently concluded its two-day event on January 14th at NESCO VIP Grounds, Goregaon, offering a celebration of the bond between pets and their owners. Renowned as India’s Largest Pet Festival, this year’s edition showcased a range of activities, from engaging games to insightful masterclasses, creating a delightful experience for pet enthusiasts.
PetFed holds the prestigious Limca World Record for the ‘Biggest Dog Carnival.’ This year, over 962 dogs, accompanied by more than 19,400 humans, participated in the Mumbai edition, marking the festival’s annual success in bringing together the pet community.
The festival featured a variety of activities catering to pets of all sizes. The Security Dog Show, with its well-trained protection dogs, impressed the audience with their skills. Temptation Alley and Pet’s Got Talent added a playful touch, showcasing the charm and abilities of the attending pets.
Collaborating with Mankind’s PetStar, PetFed organized insightful sessions in the Expert’s Masterclass. Covering topics like pet first aid, coaster making, pet nutrition, photography, grooming, and DIY pet bow making, these sessions aimed to provide practical knowledge to pet parents.
In association with the Global Feline Alliance and Cat Club Of India, the International Cat Show highlighted the beauty of various cat breeds. Judges Mr. Sudhakar Katikineni and Dr. Pradeep Bangalore, internationally recognized cat specialists, evaluated the feline participants, adding a touch of elegance to the festival.
The festival attracted attention with the presence of celebrities like Mr. Dino Morea, Ruhee Dosani, Chef Kunal Kapur, and Mrs. Malvika Raj. Influencers such as Miti Sharma, Twishaa Bhatt, Richa Evy Sharm, and Vishaal Krishna Pandey added to the festive spirit.
An integral part of PetFed was the Adoption Camp, featuring NGOs like YODA, UNICEF, and THE ANUBIS TIGER FOUNDATION. The camp actively promoted the adoption principle #AdoptDontShop, offering free entry to parents of Indie/Desi Pets, contributing to the noble cause of providing forever homes to homeless animals.
