PROMPERU, the Commission for the Promotion of Peruvian Exports and Tourism, Peru’s official tourism promotion board, has embarked on a significant initiative by organizing its inaugural roadshow in India. This  event has succeeded in attracting 14 prominent Peruvian companies to India and garnered the presence of Javier Paulinich Velarde, Ambassador of Peru to India in Delhi.

This two-city promotion, taking place in New Delhi and Mumbai, is designed to showcase the diverse allure of Peruvian tourism to the Indian trade, fostering opportunities for business collaboration and tourism contracts. The roadshow has been scheduled for October 13th in New Delhi and October 16th in Mumbai, with a primary objective of engaging with a minimum of 50 potential Indian travel companies in each city.

Luis Cabello, the Commercial Counsellor of PROMPERÚ in India, has expressed his enthusiasm for this ambitious endeavor, stating, “We are thrilled to bring the essence of Peru to India through this unique roadshow. Our aim is to create a dynamic platform where the Indian and Peruvian tourism sectors can flourish in unison. This event offers a structured format for meaningful dialogues, exploration of possibilities, and the establishment of fruitful partnerships. We are devoted to equipping Indian travelers with the knowledge required to envision Peru as their next dream destination.”

Cabello further added, “India’s vibrant spirit and diverse culture make it an ideal canvas for showcasing Peru’s rich heritage and offering unparalleled experiences. We envision India as a significant market where the wonders of Peru can genuinely come alive, captivating the hearts of every traveler.”

Attendees can anticipate engaging in workshops designed to nurture meaningful partnerships, enhance lead generation, facilitate the exchange of innovative products and ideas, and educate Indian travelers about the incredible opportunities that await them in Peru.

The framework of this roadshow features a pre-arranged meeting format, where each travel agent will be allocated 15 minutes for one-on-one constructive interactions, paving the way for a transformative journey. Beyond being a mere event, this roadshow signifies the enduring relationship between India and Peru and sets the stage for a promising future of collaboration.
