Abhishek Ganguly, MD at Puma India and Southeast Asia, along with Amit Prabhu, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director and Atul Bajaj, Executive Director and Head – Sales & Operations quits the company to start their a new sports venture. The trio will start their entrepreneurial journey with a private equity-funded start-up in the sports ecosystem.
Having spent over two decades in Puma India, Ganguly joined the Indian unit of the global footwear and apparel company in 2005 and became its MD nearly a decade later in 2014.
Karthik Balagopalan, who is currently based in the company’s Germany office, will take over as the MD.
