Adding oomph and a visual treat with colourful, vibrant installation, leading media and technology supplier, TaggLabs recently provided event technology for NEXA at the Lollapalooza India. The team worked tirelessly to bring NEXA’s vision to life by showcasing the latest generative art technology. The result was a truly unforgettable experience that captivated the festival-goers and left a lasting impression on the attendees.
In an exclusive conversation with EVENTFAQS, Hariom Seth, Founder, TaggLabs shared insights about curating event technology for NEXA at Lollapalooza India, challenges faced, future plans and more!
After getting the mandate to curate event technology for Lollapalooza India, what was your brief from NEXA? What challenges did you face while executing the experience with AI? How did you cope with it?
To enhance the music concert experiences with AI, NEXA wanted us to create an unique activity which resonates with what FRONX as a brand depicts and can excite their target users. Through this activity, NEXA wanted to portray it as an uber cool brand at the event.
Speaking about the challenges faced, the major challenge was to translate the requirement and create a product which fulfils all the tech requirement in a short period of time.
But, being a creative engineering company, we got our creative juices flowing and thought of multiple ideas which can be done to curate a unique experience for the attendees. And in the end, everyone agreed to create a reel booth (since Reels are trending these days) with a touch of AI to it!

According to you, what shift do new products and technology bring in the current market?
Our industry was badly hit with Covid, which lead to all the experiential events coming to a halt. After the revival of the industry post Covid, everyone is looking for more innovative ways to engage with their audience. To deliver this, Tagglabs curates products that strive to provide new tech in the market on a regular basis so that brands always have something to look out for.
Technology has come into the working of the industry in a big way, thanks to lockdown. What are some of the big action points needed to enhance event experience?
Few points which one needs to always keep in mind while implementing technology are:
-Technology should always be an enabler in the event, it should not just be used to be in the race.
-Tech is used to enhance the user experience so we should always keep in the mind that the designed product is user friendly.
-Our industry is constantly evolving, so we need to come up with new innovations at a regular interval.
-Tech products are eyeball catcher, so thorough testing of the products is required before implementing and hence adequate time should be given to develop the product.
How does TaggLabs help in spur the growth in the Tech space for Events & Experiential Industry?
Being a creative engineering company, we keep on innovating new products for the market that provide brands with new options to implement for their events and activations so as to enhance their end-user experience.

What are the initiatives/ events that you have on hand at TaggLabs for the near future? Also mention any recent achievements.
Currently, we are working extensively in the metaverse and digital gamification space for events and activations. We are also working on developing more interactive technologies products for the future.
We recently, implemented a successful multiple gaming and engagement products for auto brands at the Auto Expo 2023. India Energy Week 2023 was also a huge success as we collaborated with multiple brands to provide various interactive experiences including circular LED screen engagement, Touch LED wall to name a few.
