R CITY Mall presents ‘Musical Nights’ featuring Ghazal Maestro Pankaj Udhas on October 14th, at R CITY Mall, Ghatkopar west, Mumbai. Pankaj is returning to perform at this venue after a long time celebrating 40 years of his ghazal singing.
Pankaj Udhas gave ghazals a new lease of life in an era when it was losing its ground. His first album was Aahat and he is well-known for his hit albums like Aafreen, Mahek, Humsafar, Hasrat and Mehfil. His timeless pieces of music that continue to rule hearts include Mahiya Teri Kasam, Na Kajre ki Dhar, Jeeye to Jeeye Kaise, Chupana Bhi Nahi Aata etc. He rose to fame for singing Chitthi Aayee Hai from the film ‘Naam’ and has also lent his voice to many Bollywood songs.
