Celebrated Indian comedian Vir Das performed a houseful show on May 19, at the Agenda Dubai. A memorable night Dubai cannot forget. Roshan Abbas and Deepak Choudhary launched the XPRNC, Intellectual Property & Festival company, to the city with a house full show. This was the first event executed by XPRNC for the people of the UAE.
The show was supposed to be on May 13, but after the sad news of UAE’s President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan’s demise, many cultural events and shows were postponed.
Apart from the Vir Das, Shaden Fakih, Chaker Bou Abdalla, and Nour Hajjar performed at The Theater Mall of the Emirates for their third show at the Dubai Comedy Festival. The 11-day laughter exhibition hosted the funniest humorists and performed gags across various popular venues in the city.
Vir Das’s The Wanted India Tour commenced on May 20 and concluded June 26.
