
The International Indian Film Academy Awards 2022 (IIFA) created by the Wizcraft International Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., which was prior scheduled to take place in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi from May 19 to May 21, has been postponed due to the demise of the UAE President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on May 13.
With this sad news, the UAE Ministry of Presidential Affairs has declared a 40-day mourning period. Due to this, the IFFA organisers decided to reschedule the star-studded event from July 14th to July 16th 2022 in Abu Dhabi.
The International Indian Film Academy and the Indian Film industry express their deepest condolences to the people of the UAE. The official Twitter handle of IIFA mourned the death of the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
