Can India’s beach paradise Goa, the land of sun and sand, become a world capital for events?
While it hosts large events ranging from conferences to festivals to weddings, is the event
industry in Goa living up to its potential? Is the destination leveraged to potential? What will
it take to unleash the true potential of events in Goa and empower the local event industry
and its myriad stakeholders? How can the event industry across India leverage Goa to mutual
benefit?

To answer the above questions and unlock value for every stakeholder, EVENTFAQS Media
is hosting for the first time ever, a thought leadership and networking forum ‘The Westin Goa

Deepak Choudhary, Founder and Director, Eventfaqs Media, said, “We witnessed the rising
potential of Goa as a much bigger event hub than before since the lockdown, when several
creative individuals began to set up base in Goa, as WFH became part of the new normal. I
truly believe Goa has the potential to become India’s entertainment capital and at this summit
we have invited several thought leaders to share their perspective, and to explore
opportunities that Goa presents as a place for events. This will be our closing event before the
year ends and we have invited people from tourism, hotels, MICE and the wedding industry
among other entertainment-based industries to share their views.”
