Sri Lanka has officially reopened its doors to India, with no minimum stay period and a clear travel safety protocol. Following an on-arrival test, fully vaccinated international tourists can travel across the country, two weeks after their final vaccination.

Resplendent Ceylon, a Sri Lankan hospitality group, has launched newly curated packages for Indian travelers that include a variety of ‘Tea, Sea, and Safari’ journeys.

“We’re confident this positive step by Sri Lanka Tourism will facilitate seamless travel between our neighbouring countries in the coming months. India is an important market for us and Resplendent Ceylon is delighted to invite discerning Indian travellers once again to experience meticulously tailored ‘Tea, Sea and Safari’ journeys combined with benchmark luxury hospitality across our resorts,” said Malik Fernando, Managing Director, Resplendent Ceylon.

The ‘Tea, Sea, and Safari’ journeys are designed to provide Indian tourists with insights into the destination’s cultural, natural, and culinary heritage, informed a statement from the group. The packages offer itineraries across three resorts of the group for short stays ranging from four to seven nights, and long stays of ten nights and more.
