The Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA) has announced that the Zonal Spotlight Awards 2020 ceremony will be held virtually across all zones on January 20, 2021. The Zonal Spotlight Awards 2020 is chaired by Himanshu Shah and co-chaired by Vinod Janardhan under the leadership of Roshan Abbas, President, EEMA.
The first edition of Zonal Spotlight Awards 2020 has been designed to recognize best practices, original ideas, top technologies and innovations by the service providers and partners of the events industry. With the idea of broad-basing engagement with the larger events ecosystem, the concept for the awards originated in late 2019 and included the regional context.
Despite the pandemic uncertainty in the industry, Zonal Spotlight Awards gained an overwhelming response with more than 1700+ entries in over 53 categories across all the zones. EVENTFAQS Media is an exclusive media and associate partner to this event.
The Jury for the awards consisted of pioneers from the events and experiential industry. The prelims jury included Shiva Sureka, RiteshSethi, Sujit Kumar, Shaleen Kapoor, Kiran Shetty, Rahul Soni, Mushtaq Ali, Nehal Shah, Tapas Mohanty, Gautam Jain, Dr Meenakshi Anantram, and Jacob Santosh. The final jury was led by Lalit Gattani, and included Rituraj Khanna, Sunil Kutty Menon, Mahavir Sharma and Sonu Nanda.
The evaluation of the entries was based on a specially designed rating system on three key criteria – Concept and Creativity, Planning and Execution and Effectiveness and Result.
