Anushka and Apurv’s Mumbai wedding was nothing less than a dream wedding. Helmed by Elephants and Ants this three-day wedding was a grand celebration of two souls coming together.
When the couple decided to tie the knot, they knew they wanted to enjoy every moment at their own wedding. The brief given to us was to keep the wedding celebrations exquisite and elegant.
The celebrations began with a sundowner Mehndi Ceremony at Mini Turf Club, Mahalakshmi Racecourse. The décor for the evening was minimal and traditional with marigold flowers and fairy lights hanging from the trees. The guests were seen enjoying the live music at the outdoor mehndi setup.
The festivities continued for the next two days at St. Regis, Mumbai. The Sangeet soiree at St. Regis witnessed the happy clatter of the families coming together dancing and swaying to the music. The décor theme for this event was classic and vintage. The standing floor chandeliers at various corners perfectly complimented the entire décor at the venue. The highlight of the night was seeing the couple grooving to some Bollywood music by DJ AJ.
The Wedding ceremonies commenced the next day at St. Regis. A beautiful mandap in the centre adorned with real flowers and Mumbai skyline as the background the open deck at St. Regis surely looked stunning. The décor for the wedding was an arrangement of red roses, white flowers, drapes, and chandeliers giving it a dramatic and ethereal feel. The wedding was followed by a reception which was hosted indoors. The gorgeous centrepieces at this sit-down reception were unmissable.
We loved planning Anushka and Apruv’s big day for them. However, this wouldn’t be possible without the assistance of all the creative minds that came together to make this wedding a memorable affair.
