
Samsung’s Galaxy J6 was launched in 11 cities in Maharashtra in the month of May, exclusively to all its channel partners in Pune, Nagpur, Akola, Solapur, Kolhapur, Nasik, Ahmednagar, Ratnagiri, Aurangabad, and Nanded. Bold Marketing was selected to conduct this launch from May 22, 2018 to May 25, 2018 which also included having a simultaneous presence in two cities at a time.

The biggest challenge faced was that Bold Marketing was selected just about ten days prior to the event which meant all of the production coordination, banquet bookings, design alterations etc had to be done in a short period of time. Nonetheless, Team Bold took this challenge and dedicated every hour in the day to make this event a success for its attendees.

The team split into four groups that travelled around 11 cities in Maharashtra over a period of four days and thorough coordination was done with each other to ensure the vendors reached on time and all of the elements of the event were placed correctly in the prescribed manner. The event comprised of the Zonal Head of Sales and Marketing launching the Samsung Galaxy J6 to its channel partners, followed by an internal speech, the demo of the phones where all the partners could experience the features of the new phone and a lavish dinner.

Event Manager, Santosh Ramamurthy conducted real-time hotel bookings and 11 city launch execution and coordination to which he commented, “That part was a challenge! We overcame this with consistent and coordinated team support on-ground and off-ground. Carrying out hotel bookings aren’t traditionally a part of a corporate event manager’s job. However, when required, an event manager and his team must execute these tasks. We took over the logistics as well as the planning of the entire event and delivered a success!”
