
The Test Case is a new web-series under the banner of ALTBalaji – a subsidiary of Balaji Telefilms Ltd. The web-series is a story which portrays preparation of Indian Army’s first female test case in a combat role. Earlier, Think Events had won the mandate in the three-agency pitch to manage the press launch of the nine-episode web series of ‘BOSE – Dead or Alive’ in Mumbai, Kolkata, and New Delhi.
This time the agency was entitled to render the launch events of ‘The Test Case’, a series featuring Bollywood Actress Nimrat Kaur. Along with Nimrat, the series cast includes actors Atul Kulkarni, Rahul Dev, Manit Joura, Suhail Nayyar, Akshay Oberoi, Samir Kochhar, Anup Soni and Juhi Chawla, who essays the role of India’s Defense Minister. The show is helmed by Vinay Waikul and backed by Endemol. The web series was launched on Ekta Kapoor’s digital platform ALTBalaji.
The launch event was executed on January 22, 2018 at Le Meridian, Delhi. The focal point of the entire event was managing the venue, transport, logistics, press conference, and interviews of the press with the cast of the series. The session embodied the press launch and the trailer screening followed by Q & A with the cast. The press launch was followed by one on one press interviews with the cast of the series that included Nimrat Kaur, Atul Kulkarni, Annup Soni, and Vinay Waikul.
“Think Events team had set its agenda to construct a coherent execution of all elements keeping in mind the elegance of the web series which was depicted across all the collaterals. For the press conference, the plan was to keep it simple & keep the focus on the web series”, said Sushant Bhat, General Manager, Think Events.
