The Wedding Venue, a UAE-based wedding planning and décor company, conceptualised, designed and executed the wedding of a local Arab couple on August 18 at the Grand Hyatt in Dubai. Commenting on the brief given by the client, Ravneet Kaur, The Wedding Venue, explained, “We come across customers who have different expectations from us, and it is our responsibility to greet them with something beyond that and satisfy them. This time our client wanted us to redesign our existing setup but add a unique effect to it.”
At The Wedding Venue, it is believed not only in creating an event successful, but ensuring the creation of a concept that gives ever lasting memory to clients and guests. A unique idea going beyond the client’s expectation was created for this occasion.
Elaborating on the décor, Ravneet added, “We gave a dynamic touch to the flowers that were used for decorating the venue which gave a visual appeal to the back of the stage – Kosha. No, it didn’t outshine the couple. Also, a curvy effect was created at the backdrop to give a 3D effect. To create an authentic aura to the venue, the centrepieces were made of fresh flowers though in a candelabra with accessories around it. The elegant furniture with an acrylic catwalk and the dance floor added to the whole look and feel of the evening.”
The major challenge the team faced in this particular case was to accomplish the task in a short time because there was an event in the same venue before this wedding celebration as well. Ravneet concluded, “With the sheer efforts of our skilled labour, we managed to complete it much before the desired time. And those happy faces of our clients and their guests only added icing to the cake.”
