Belagavai International Wine Festival was part of this initiative.

Senses Creations was entrusted to come on board as the event partner after successfully winning the tender process. The entire event was conceptualized by Karnataka Wine Board, however, the brain storming depending upon the concept was prepared and executed by Senses Creations.

The festival, spread across 3 days was an instant hit amongst the audience, which saw the participation of more than 12,000 people. The event also saw the participation of 10 wineries and gave the event audiences a chance to relish the taste of more than 50 different kinds of wine offered by them. Brands like Black Buck Wine & Rosso wines, Elite Vintage Winery, Grover, Sula, Krishna Valley, Valle De Indies Vineyards, Fratelli, SDU and  Rico Wines participated in the event.

In the prelude to the event, a press conference was organized on August 17, 2017, where the top management from Karnataka Wine Board interacted with media and shared their view on organizing the International Wine Fest in Belagavi.

To enhance the vivaciousness of the wine festival, Senses Creations also curated artists for the 3-day fest. The artists represented different genres of music; these included International Flutist by Yogis Angel, progressive Carnatic fusion band Project Mishra M, Marathi rock band OffBeat-India and Indian rock/pop band Lagori. The festival also had a grape stomping station that was flooded with audiences at all times.

Sri Ravindra Shankar Mirje, Chairman-KWB was happy with the outcome of the event and said, “We are really happy with the arrangements made by Senses Creations. This is the best ever event happened for the people in the city. The enthusiasm we saw in public is outstanding, not only wine lovers; people even have participated with family and kids to be a part of this great extravaganza which is the first of its kind in Belagavi.”

Talking about the event, K K Das, from Senses Creations said, “After winning the tender Senses Creations was entrusted to execute the biggest festival ever in the history of Belagavi district in Karnataka. Thanks to all the members of Karnataka Wine Board for all sorts of support. It was a challenge to organize an international level wine festival in a smaller city with national level expertise not only in terms of set ups, decor but also in terms of Audio Visual experience. And we are happy that it was really well executed with a footfall of 12,000 + over 3 days”.
