On July 23, 2017, at the 5th edition of the Indian Convention of the Wedding Fraternity (ICWF), Sabbas Joseph, President, EEMA and Founder & Director, Wizcraft International, announced that the association is gearing up to host its annual convention & awards (EEMAGINE & EEMAX) concurrently, from September 7 to 10, 2017 at Aerocity New Delhi.
Joseph also shared that since 2017 marks 10 years since the establishment of the Indian event industry’s apex body, EEMA, a special EEMA 10-year celebrations have also been planned as part of the overall extravaganza.
Talking about it Joseph shared, “The last decade has been an era of change. Change that is clearly visible. Change that is awe-defining. No longer can a brand be launched effectively without an event; no wedding or social celebration is done without an event planner and dreamer; no government announcement is done without an event! The advertising world has been compelled to involve event engagement ideas in their media mix and sometimes the entire campaign rests on the event as the holy grail! And our industry has grown by over 20% year on year by conservative estimates, beating the national growth by multiples.”
He added, “We at EEMA have defined this as the ‘Decade of Transformation’ and this has been adopted as the theme of our Celebratory convention.” Joseph further shared the celebrations will be dedicated to the women in the events industry.

EEMA Eduposium- first edition:
An engagement, training and orientation platform to get the student community empowered with career options in the Events and Experience industry.
This pioneering initiative is focussed on students and interns.

AM: Inaugural, Plenary Sessions, international keynotes.

An interactive Exhibition, lecture demonstrations, and showcases will envelop the convention.
